Air Force seeks network support ? Iraq regulators ask for IT network and more
The Air Force wants communications and computer services for its Air Education and Training Command's Network Operations Security Center and headquarters. The command trains the country's airmen.The contractor will design, operate and maintain the command's network enterprise, messaging firewalls, Active Directory, system management server, infrastructure, network defense intrusion detection and vulnerability assessments.The vendor also must provide technical engineering support for the architecture, technology and interoperability enterprise. The government will award one contract.Responses are due by July 14. Contact Gwen Mayhue at gwen.mayhue@randolph.af.mil.The Army wants a fixed and wireless communications network for Iraq's National Communications and Media Commission, a telecommunications regulatory agency that grants licenses and registers telecommunications service providers.The Army wants the high-speed data network and regulatory administration support system to have equipment, hardware and software components and work processes that comply with international standards. The components must be able to accommodate future needs. The contractor must conduct site surveys for each location.Responses are due by July 20. Contact Nicola Natale at nicola.natale@pco-iraq.net.The Army needs IT services for classified, unclassified and coalition systems for elements of its Network Enterprise Technology Command for the Army Theater Network Operations Security Center in Korea.Services will include installing, operating and maintaining various network management and security monitoring systems, operating systems and application systems.The work will be done primarily at Camp Walker in Daegu, Korea, with off-site and remote assistance for systems at other sites.
