The National Cancer Institute Center for Bioinformatics at the National Institutes of Health needs professional service experts to work on its cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid project. The grid is a voluntary network that lets people and institutions share data and tools on cancer research.The contractor must have experience in grid computing, n-tier architecture, software and data model design and robust software development methodology. It also will develop test plans, establish software quality assurance procedures and manage project activities. Responses are due by March 1.Contact Jennifer Thomas at thomasj@ncifcrf.gov.The Government Printing Office is looking for enterprise architecture consulting support services as it moves to a new Future Digital System.This system will let federal content creators develop and submit content that can be preserved, authenticated, managed and delivered upon request. All known federal government documents within the scope of GPO's Federal Depository Library Program will be included in the system.The contractor will help with planning, building and transitioning to this new digital platform. The board oversees the International Broadcasting Bureau, which provides administrative and engineering support for U.S. government-funded, non-military international broadcast services.The agency intends to issue multiple-award contracts for one year with up to four one-year option periods.
