Hansen teams with Agresso for ERP financials
Looking to open the door to a lucrative market, Hansen Information Technologies Inc. has struck a strategic alliance with Agresso Americas to provide a government-focused enterprise resource planning solution.
Looking to open the door to a lucrative market, Hansen Information Technologies Inc. has struck a strategic alliance with Agresso Americas to provide a government-focused enterprise resource planning solution.
The new solution, Hansen Financials, combines Agresso Americas' financial solution with Hansen's revenue, operations and asset valuation applications to deliver an enterprise-level solution using browser-based service oriented architecture.
Hansen of Rancho Cordova, Calif., is planning to introduce its solution to new foreign markets, such as Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The company also has cross licensing opportunities planned for the United Kingdom, Scandinavian and other mainland European markets.
Hansen Financials will include core financials, budgeting, billing, business intelligence, customer relationship management, geographic information systems, procurement, human resources and payroll, project management, grant tracking and Web portal modules along with system-wide workflow, reporting and performance metrics.
Agresso Americas is a subsidiary of Unit 4 Agresso N.V., Sliedrecht, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. Unit 4 Agresso, an international supplier of government financial solutions, has about 2,100 employees and roughly $360 million in revenue in fiscal 2004, according to a company statement.
Hansen, a privately held company that offers Web-based software solutions for a variety of business functions, has about 250 employees.
