Client Network Services Inc. won a five-year, $2 million contract renewal from the Coast Guard to manage its recreational boating accident report database.
Under the new contract, which is for one year and four option years, CNSI will perform ongoing maintenance, help-desk support, formal training and enhancements to the Web-based version of the Coast Guard's Boating Accident Report Database system, or BARD-Web.

The Rockville, Md., company was the prime contractor on the original $1.8 million contract from March 2002 to September 2005.
CNSI is a private company that provides IT business solutions for the government and commercial sectors. Among its government customers are the Energy and Homeland Security departments, Federal Aviation Administration and several state Medicaid agencies.
