Boeing of Chicago previously won a contract to develop unmanned aerial vehicle control software, classification aids software and computer-aided design models for the multimission maritime aircraft. The Defense Department announced the new award this week.

The work will be performed in Seattle and is expected to be completed in September 2011. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Boeing ranks No. 10 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
