DataLogic buys network design and consulting firm
DataLogic International Inc. has acquired BluBat Inc., a network design and consulting company.
DataLogic International Inc. has acquired BluBat Inc., a network design and consulting company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition will strengthen DataLogic's core offerings in communications solutions, add new customers and help it meet market demands, company officials said.
BluBat of Solano Beach, Calif., has expertise ranging from network, systems and software engineering to security and project management. Its customer base includes biotechnology, communications and manufacturing companies, educational entities, nonprofit organizations and federal, state and local government agencies.
DataLogic anticipates the acquisition of BluBat will add $2 million to the company's 2006 annual revenue.
DataLogic of Irvine, Calif., provides communications solutions, including global positioning system-based mobile asset tracking, secured mobile communications and voice over Internet protocol as well as IT and consulting services.
