Justice taps ManTech for drug intelligence support

ManTech International Corp. has won a two-year, $19 million contract to provide support to the Justice Department's National Drug Intelligence Center, the company announced today.

Under the contract, ManTech of Fairfax, Va., will provide intelligence and technical support, document exploitation and training and administrative support.

The National Drug Intelligence Center is the country's main hub for strategic domestic counterdrug intelligence. It provides national policymakers and law enforcement with domestic drug intelligence, supports the counterdrug efforts of the intelligence community and produces national, regional and state drug assessments.

ManTech, which provides technologies and solutions focused on mission-critical national security programs to the federal government, has supported the National Drug Intelligence Center since 1996.

ManTech employs about 6,000 people and has annual revenue of $842.4 million. It is No. 21 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
