ManTech wins State Dept. security work

ManTech International Corp. has won a five-year, $23.9 million contract from the State Department for IT security services, the company announced today.

ManTech of Fairfax, Va., will implement lifecycle security systems that protect IT and other electronic equipment for the agency's Bureau of Information Resource Management.

ManTech has worked for the State Department for the past 16 years. The company's other federal customers include the departments of Defense, Homeland Security and Justice as well as intelligence agencies.

ManTech provides systems engineering, systems integration and other IT services. It has 5,500 employees and had annual sales of $842 million in fiscal 2004. The company ranks No. 22 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal prime contracting revenue.
