NFR Security wins CSC subcontract
NFR Security Inc. has a subcontract from Computer Sciences Corp. to support its work on the Army Logistics Modernization Program.
NFR Security Inc. has won a subcontract from Computer Sciences Corp. to support its work on the Army Logistics Modernization Program by providing network protection.
Under the subcontract, NFR Security of Rockville, Md., will deploy a proprietary threat protection solution to secure communication and logistical systems at several CSC data center locations that host the program's enterprise resource planning applications.
Initial threat protection sensors were deployed during the first phase of the program to secure mission-critical traffic throughout network operations centers.
As prime contractor, CSC of El Segundo, Calif., provides application and infrastructure for the Army's Logistics Management Program. The program is designed to modernize the service's national logistics business practices. The subcontract is valued at $650,000.
NFR Security offers security software to both the commercial and government sectors to protect their networks from attacks.
