CSC creates applied tech division
Computer Sciences Corp. has formed an applied technology division to consolidate and integrate its operations that provide managed engineering services.

The new division, which will be headed by former Lockheed Martin Corp. executive Lawrence Hare, is part of CSC's federal-sector business unit and comprises mainly the company's DynCorp Technical Services business.
CSC sold off parts of its DynCorp businesses Feb. 11, but held onto the technical services unit.
