Centurum garners Spawar support work
The $46.7 million contract renewal from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center is for technical services for the information warfare exploitation systems engineering division.
Centurum Inc. won a six-year, $46.7 million contract renewal from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in Charleston, S.C., to provide technical services to its information warfare exploitation systems engineering division, the company said yesterday.
The company's contract renewal with the Shipboard Cryptologic Technical Support Services is for one year with five one-year options. Under the contract, Centurum will provide testing and assessment services, operational and maintenance training and equipment repair services that will let the center maximize its command and control capabilities for warfighters.
The company works on information and communications technologies, offers systems support services and conducts systems analysis and onsite installation upgrades.
Based in Arlington, Va., Centurum provides mission-critical technologies to the federal government. It employs about 500 people and had 2004 revenue of nearly $60 million.
