The Georgia Department of Community Health is seeking a pharmacy benefit management company to handle the fee-for-service pharmacy component of its Medicaid program. A request for proposal is expected later this month.
The company will provide services such as claims processing as well as manage the preferred drug list, pharmacy network and clinical program. The vendor also will work with other agency vendors to provide advanced clinical programs, conduct disease management research and collaborate on projects.
