Bay Area Rapid Transit taps Maximus for ERP work
Maximus Inc. won a 14-month, $12.5 million contract from the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District to oversee a large-scale enterprise resource planning project.
Maximus Inc. won a 14-month, $12.5 million contract from the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District to oversee a large-scale enterprise resource planning project, the company the company announced this week.
The contract is estimated to be worth $22.3 million if an additional one-year option is exercised.
Maximus of Reston, Va., will refresh IT systems and install and integrate ERP software to improve and modernize the district's administrative business processes. The project involves changes in business practices and improving communications and training as well as knowledge transfer, Maximus said.
Maximus offers program management, consulting and IT services. It has 5,100 employees and annual sales of $603.8 million.
