Navy re-ups CACI for logistics analysis and training support

CACI International Inc. won a $16 million contract renewal from the Navy to provide technical services to support the Navy and Marine Corps Fleet Assistance and Shipboard Training program, the company announced today.

The contract has a potential value of $85 million over five years if all options are exercised, the company said.

Under the contract, CACI of Arlington, Va., will provide program users with logistics, inventory, training, and financial management solutions intended to help improve automated supply operations and fleet readiness.

CACI will perform the work at various Navy and Marine Corps facilities in the United States, overseas and on board naval vessels.

The Fleet Assistance and Shipboard Training program provides a wide range of support for afloat and deployable automated supply management programs and services for the Navy and Marine Corps. The support ranges from on-site assistance, training and analysis to database validation, correction and reconciliation.

CACI, a provider of information technology and network solutions for defense, intelligence and e-government, has 9,500 employees and annual sales of $1.1 billion. The company ranked No. 17 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
