Anteon nabs Navy aviation training support deal

Anteon Corp. won a 51-month, $16.7 million task order contract from the Naval Air Systems Command to support Navy aviation training programs, the company announced today.
Under the contract, Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will provide program management and technical engineering services for a number of Navy aircraft and related systems training programs.
Anteon will assess user training requirements, conduct technical analyses to support improvements in flight simulators and maintenance trainers, and validate the technical design and operations of the Naval Aviation Training Assessment Management System.
Anteon provides information technology and systems engineering solutions to the federal, commercial and international sectors. The company has 8,600 employees and annual revenue of $1 billion. The company ranked No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
