Accenture's Gutkowski named PSC chairman

Accenture Ltd. executive Stan Gutkowski was elected chairman of the Professional Services Council by its board of directors yesterday.

Gutkowski is the managing partner of USA Government Operations for Accenture. The company provides management consulting, technology services and outsourcing for business and government customers.

As PSC's chairman, Gutkowski will focus on PSC's mission to expand the government marketplace for professional and technical service providers and foster a business climate that enables fair competition, PSC officials said.

PSC is a trade association that represents 170 companies that provide services for the federal government.
