Tyler wins software deal in Wisconsin

Tyler Technologies has won a $2 million contract from Dane County, Wis., to provide software for financial, human resource and revenue management needs, the company announced today.

Tyler of Dallas will provide implementation, training and support services for its financial, human resources and revenue management software package. The company expects to complete the implementation in 18 months.

By replacing its software, Dane County will eliminate redundant data entry, improve reporting and address accounting and financial functions across various departments, the company said.

Dane County, which has its seat in Madison, is the second largest county in Wisconsin with a population of 445,000. The county has an annual budget of $400 million and more than 2,000 employees.

Tyler offers information management solutions and services to local government. It has 1,200 employees and annual sales of $145.5 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
