Omaha, Neb.-based MSI Systems Integrators Inc. signed on to become the first reseller of BMC Software tools for managing Linux servers.

Houston-based BMC Software Inc. has been promoting what it calls business service management to government agencies that are implementing enterprise architectures. The company recently hosted a breakfast for IT managers and systems integrators where former OMB chief technology officer Norman Lorentz stressed the importance of consolidating and leveraging IT investments across government agencies.
