Tyler Technologies has acquired Eden Systems Inc., a provider of financial, personal and citizen services applications software for local governments.

Tyler Technologies has acquired Eden Systems Inc., a provider of financial, personal and citizen services applications software for local governments, the company announced today. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Eden Systems of Renton, Wash., increases Tyler's presence in the western United States, said John Yeaman, president and chief executive officer of Tyler Technologies.

Eden Systems' products offer Windows-based technology in a robust, scaleable system and easy-to-use system, according to Tyler. In addition to software, Eden provides related professional services and support.

Eden Systems has more than 160 installations nationwide and annual sales of about $12 million.

Tyler Technologies of Dallas offers information management solutions and services to local governments. The company has about 1,230 employees and annual sales of $133.9 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
