The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts renewed its five-year
contract with Affiliated Computer Services Inc. of Dallas, ACS officials
announced Dec. 10.

The new contract is for one year and four option years, and is worth
$5.7 million if all options are exercised.

ACS will provide customer support, software enhancements, consulting and
related services to 90 federal courts and three administrative agencies
using the ACS Juror Management System. In addition, the remaining six
U.S. District Courts may be added to the contract, ACS officials said.

The work falls under ACS' state and local business unit, according to
the company. ACS recently sold most of its federal business to Lockheed
Martin Corp. of Bethesda, Md.
