U.S. Courts tap PEC for technology migration
PEC Solutions Inc. has won a five-year, $9 million contract from the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts to migrate the federal judiciary's national information technology infrastructure to Linux-Intel platform, the company announced today.
PEC Solutions Inc. has won a five-year, $9 million contract from the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts to migrate the federal judiciary's national information technology infrastructure to Linux-Intel platform, the company announced today.
Under the contract, PEC of Fairfax, Va., will support the transition of the judiciary's mission-sensitive applications, including case management, finance and accounting, probation and pre-trial services and case-tracking management systems to the Linux standard.
The company will provide the services at the courts' Washington office, its national technology, training and support facility in San Antonio, and its independent test facility in Phoenix.
PEC Solutions is a professional services firm specializing in interoperable technologies for law enforcement, intelligence, defense and civilian agencies within the federal government as well as state and local government.
