Lockheed Martin Corp. has reorganized its Integrated Systems & Solutions unit, officials of the Bethesda, Md., company said today.
The reorganization will more closely align company resources to meet customer needs for integrated, network-centric solutions, officials said.
Defense and other national security customers are increasingly turning to these types of solutions, which provide comprehensive information on demand, the company said.
The reorganization of the Gaithersburg, Md., IS&S unit creates new business lines and teams of subject-matter experts that will draw upon expertise throughout Lockheed Martin to provide customers with the system-of-systems capabilities they need to support joint and net-centric operations.
