Study: CIA not using enough IT

A study authored by Central Intelligence Agency scholar-in-residence Bruce Berkowitz said the CIA is not making full use of information technology tools to help analysts with their work.

The study, "Failing to Keep Up With the Information Revolution," found the CIA's own classified network, cordoned off from public networks, has only limited material. Moreover, a complicated procurement process discourages analysts from trying new IT tools, such as collaboration programs or data mining software. The report can be found at:
