OMB has manager changes

The Office of Management and Budget's e-government office is losing two portfolio managers.

Tony Frater, portfolio manager for government-to-government Quicksilver projects, has accepted an industry job, and Jonathan Womer, portfolio manager for government-to-citizen projects, will move to a post in OMB's Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.

The departures come at nearly the same time as the exit of Mark Forman, OMB's administrator for e-government and IT. Forman will leave Aug. 15 to join a new business venture in Silicon Valley.

OMB now has only two of the five e-government portfolio jobs filled: Tad Anderson, portfolio manager for the government-to-business projects, and Jeanette Thorton, e-authentication manager. Stephen Galvan, portfolio manager for the internal efficiency and effectiveness projects, left in June to become the Small Business Administration's CIO.

In his new job beginning Sept. 2, Womer said he will develop government-

wide Web content and information dissemination policies.

Frater, whose last day is Aug. 20, said he is joining a government affairs company, Dutko Group Co. of Washington.
