FCBS acquires AmerInd

IT services provider FCBS Inc., Springfield, Va., has acquired AmerInd Inc., Alexandria, Va., FCBS said this week. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

IT services provider FCBS Inc., Springfield, Va., has acquired AmerInd Inc., Alexandria, Va., FCBS said this week. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

For FCBS, the AmerInd acquisition increases its presence within government agencies such as the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Defense Logistics Agency, the Navy and the National Guard. AmerInd also holds positions on General Services Administration schedules for maintenance, systems development and analysis, and network management and other services.

FCBS estimated that AmerInd's annual revenue was about $20 million. The revenue of the combined companies, with over 500 employees, is expected to reach $85 million a year.

Investment banking firm Windsor Group represented AmerInd in the sale.

Privately held FCBS, formerly FC Business Systems, specializes in enterprise network services and information assurance.
