Dynamics Research to support Air Force HR work

Dynamics Research Corp. has won a five-year prime contract to support the Air Force Personnel Center Human Resources System Program Office at Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Dynamics Research Corp. in Andover, Mass., won a five-year prime contract worth up to $7.9 million to support the Air Force Personnel Center Human Resources System Program Office at Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, the company said today.

The contract began June 1. It is for seven months and worth about $600,000. It has four one-year options that, if exercised, would bring about $1.8 million in annual revenue.

DRC will provide acquisition program management, financial, configuration and information technology support to the human resource support program office, DRC officials said.

The contract adds a new Air Force client to DRC's portfolio. To support the contract, DRC will bring on 12 new hires to its staff at Randolph Air Force Base, said William Hoover, DRC president and chief operating officer.

"We are pleased to have the opportunity to expand the services DRC provides to other Air Force program offices, by providing vital services to this new customer," Hoover said.

DRC provides engineering, logistics, training, simulation and modeling and information technology services and manufactured products for mission-critical systems. The company had $192.6 million in 2002 revenue.
