Navy taps SRA for education and training IT services
SRA International Inc. won a five-year, $13.9 million contract to provide IT services and solutions to support the Navy's Naval Education and Training Command and the Naval Personnel Development Command.
SRA International Inc. won a five-year, $13.9 million task order contract to provide IT services and solutions to support the U.S. Navy's Naval Education and Training Command and the Naval Personnel Development Command, the company announced today.
Under the contract, SRA of Fairfax, Va., will provide business process reengineering, Internet and intranet development, technical training and operations and maintenance services. The contract will support the Navy Training Quota Management System as well as the other two command programs.
The Naval Personnel Development Command, which is based in Norfolk, Va., manages and operates processes, information systems and technology program that support individual training.
SRA is a provider of IT services and solutions to clients in national security, health care and public health and civil government. The company has about 2,500 employees and had annual sales of $361 million in fiscal 2002.
