Maximus wins criminal justice contracts
Maximus Inc. has recently signed eight contracts totaling more than $20 million with state and local governments for criminal justice solutions.
The Washington contract is in partnership with BearingPoint Inc. of McLean, Va., the company said. Maximus develops, implements and maintains a variety of software products targeted at state and local courts and other justice and records agencies, including county recorders, jury commissions and jails.CourtView, a court case management system designed to serve trial court jurisdictions, is the company's flagship product for courts. The software serves as the foundation for enterprise-wide justice information systems, according to the company.Maximus is a provider of program management, consulting and information technology services to state and local governments. The company has more than 5,300 employees and annual revenue of $518 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
