Maximus wins criminal justice contracts

Maximus Inc. has recently signed eight contracts totaling more than $20 million with state and local governments for criminal justice solutions.

The Washington contract is in partnership with BearingPoint Inc. of McLean, Va., the company said. Maximus develops, implements and maintains a variety of software products targeted at state and local courts and other justice and records agencies, including county recorders, jury commissions and jails.CourtView, a court case management system designed to serve trial court jurisdictions, is the company's flagship product for courts. The software serves as the foundation for enterprise-wide justice information systems, according to the company.Maximus is a provider of program management, consulting and information technology services to state and local governments. The company has more than 5,300 employees and annual revenue of $518 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.

Maximus Inc. has recently signed eight contracts totaling more than $20 million with state and local governments for criminal justice solutions, the company announced this week.

Under the contracts, Maximus of Reston, Va., will implement its CourtView software application and, in some cases, other integrated software products, including JuryView and JailView.

The company signed contracts with:

  • Alaska

  • Nevada Administrative Office of the Courts

  • Clark County, Nev.

  • Henderson, Nev.

  • North Las Vegas, Nev.

  • Wayne County Probate Court, Mich.

  • Chester County, Pa.

  • Washington, D.C.
