Updata Capital Inc., Red Bank, N.J., announced that has joined the firm as a managing director. MacDonald will focus on new business opportunities, developing new markets and continuing advisory efforts for information technology companies. Before joining Updata, MacDonald was a managing director in Lehman Brother's Global Technology Group. The firm also hired as a partner in its Reston, Va., office. Kallett will be responsible for spearheading Updata's advisory efforts in the financial technology sector.
