Marines' $3 billion vehicle awarded to 22 companies
Twenty-three companies have won the right to compete for task orders under a $3 billion blanket purchase agreement awarded by the Marines Corps Systems Command.
Twenty-two companies have won the right to compete for task orders under a $3 billion blanket purchase agreement awarded by the Marines Corps Systems Command.
The companies will compete to provide engineering and software services. Task orders will be managed under the Acquisition Center for Support Services office, which commences formal operations Aug. 5.
Among the winners of the five-year, Commercial Enterprise Omnibus Support Services contract are Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif., Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., McLean, Va., Northrop Grumman Corp., Los Angeles, and Titan Corp., San Diego.
Other companies chosen include Anteon Corp., Fairfax, Va.; BAE Systems Plc, Farnborough, U.K.; CACI International Inc., Arlington, Va.; EG&G Technical Services Inc., Gaithersburg, Md.; Information Network Systems Inc., Eastport, Maine.; and R.M. Vredenburg Co., Reston, Va.
A total of 161 companies vied for the original solicitation, according to a release issued by Vredenburg.
