PSI team wins $56 million Navy work
Planning Systems Inc. will lead a contract to support Navy sonar and acoustic measurement technology systems.
Planning Systems Inc., Reston, Va., will head a team on a $56 million contract to support Navy sonar and acoustic measurement technology systems, the company announced July 2.
PSI's team includes Anteon Corp., Fairfax, Va.; DDL Omni Engineering Corp., McLean, Va.; EG&G Technical Services Inc., Gaithersburg Md.; ManTech International Inc., Fairfax, Va.; Science Applications International Corp., San Diego; and Spectrum Technology Group Inc., Laytonsville, Md.
Under the contract, the team will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center's signature measurement and acoustic intelligence activities. The center's office in Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity.
The team will work in Reston, Va., Long Beach, Miss., and on various Navy ships and shipyards. The work is expected to be completed by September 2007.
PSI employs 350 scientific, engineering and IT personnel nationwide. Fiscal 2001 revenue for the company was $35 million.
