McDonald Bradley acquires Domain Technologies

McDonald Bradley Inc., McLean, Va., has acquired Domain Technologies Inc. The terms of the deal between the two privately-held companies were not disclosed.

McDonald Bradley Inc., McLean, Va., has acquired Domain Technologies Inc., McDonald announced June 17. The terms of the deal between the two privately-held companies were not disclosed.

Domain specializes in developing Web-based information systems for the government intelligence and law enforcement community, including the Drug Enforcement Administration. McDonald plans to use the company's government contacts, particularly among defense and intelligence agencies, as well as its expertise in developing active server pages and .NET-based applications.

"The acquisition of Domain provides us with a competitive advantage through the additional skill sets and practice areas that they bring," McDonald Bradley President Kenneth Bartee said.

The combined company will employ approximately 175 people. Maguire Woods Capital served as financial advisors to McDonald Bradley.

McDonald Bradley was formed in 1985 and specializes in providing technology solutions to the government, with an emphasis on data visualization intelligence tools, systems assurance services and Web application integration services.
