Anteon wins $35 million network contract

Anteon International Corp. has won a $35 million contract from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center for scientific and technical information technology network maintenance and operation services, the company announced June 26.

Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will assist in operating and maintaining the scientific and technical network, a complex network of computing and communications systems and software.

The network will support a scientific community that conducts a wide range of activities, such as exploratory research and development, new technology evaluation and validation and technical support for Navy fleet exercises.

Anteon is an information technology and systems engineering and integration company that provides services and support to the federal government and international sectors. The company has more than 5,400 employees and annual revenue of $715 million.
