EMA wins two Navy deals for $81 million

Eagan, McAllister Associates Inc. has won a pair of contracts from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

Eagan, McAllister Associates Inc. has won a pair of contracts from the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division worth more than $81 million combined.

Under the contracts, EMA of Lexington Park, Md., will provide a range of technical and programmatic services to the Surface Communications and Information Systems Division and the Test and Evaluation Engineering Department.

The contract with Surface Communications Division, awarded April 30 and valued at $28 million, is a follow-on to EMA's existing contract with the division. It supports programs such as surface, subsurface and airborne communications and electronic systems, and design engineering services for developmental Defense Department command, control, communications, electronics and combat systems.

EMA was one of seven companies awarded contracts April 25 to provide technical, management and engineering services in support of the Naval Air Systems Command/NAWCAD test and evaluation engineering department at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Md.

EMA's contract, worth $53 million, supports flight tests and evaluations for ship suitability, air traffic control and landing systems. EMA will provide test and evaluation engineering, prototyping, ground, laboratory and flight test conduct and evaluation, analysis, test development and warfare systems integration for all naval aviation platforms.

EMA also is a member of the Veridian Corp. team, which won the flight test and evaluation contract.
