CACI International Inc. has won a $25 million contract to continue providing support to the service's electronic military personnel records system.
CACI International Inc. has won a $25 million contract with the Navy Personnel Command to continue providing support to its electronic military personnel records system, the company announced April 3.
The one-year contract with five one-year options was awarded through the General Services Administration's Millennia Lite contract vehicle.
Under the contract, Arlington, Va.-based CACI will provide electronic records management and software support services. The company also is providing software expertise, such as trouble-shooting systems for accuracy and managing software configurations to ensure systems are installed and operating as required.
The support and services that CACI will provide will help the Navy better deploy personnel, ensure promotions and pay increases are carried out on time and improve the administration of health, medical and retirement benefits, according to company officials.
For the company, the award will expand its integration line of business and increase both the value and scope of the support it provides for Navy personnel and manpower programs, they said.
CACI integrates the networks, systems and software for telecommunications, information assurance, intelligence services and other forms of information management. The company has about 5,000 employees and annual sales of $563 million.
