Booz Allen wins DIA anti-terrorism work

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. announced has been selected by the Defense Intelligence Agency as the team leader for the Joint Intelligence Virtual Architecture Systems Integration contract. The contract value is $80 million over more than five years.

A primary goal of the JIVA SI contract is to standardize development of an intelligence collaboration portal for intelligence producers. The Booz Allen-led team will provide full systems engineering life-cycle support, including architecture, security, testing, integration and training.

Included in the contract is development of the JIVA knowledge discovery tool kit, a solution that can work with all types of unclassified and classified multimedia, unstructured, semi-structured and structured data, and create refined complex searches to identify and extract entities and relationships in support of counterterrorism efforts.

The team led by Booz Allen of McLean, Va., includes Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif.; TRW Inc., Cleveland; Electronic Data Systems Corp., Plano, Texas; General Dynamics Corp., Falls Church, Va.; Titan Corp., San Diego; Sybase Inc., Dublin, Calif.; Autonomy Corp. plc, Cambridge, U.K.; Northrop Grumman Corp., Los Angeles; Ezenia Inc., Burlington, Mass.; and Visual Analytics Inc., Poolesville, Md.
