Anteon scores three Navy contracts

The contracts total more than $35 million for the Fairfax, Va.-based company to provide engineering and technical services to the Navy.

Anteon Corp. has won three contracts totaling more than $35 million to provide engineering and technical services to the Navy, the company announced April 15.

The contracts are a $19 million blanket purchase agreement to support the Navy Systems Acquisition Program Office, an $8 million task order to support the Navy Sea-based Midcourse Ballistic Missile Defense Program Office, and a $8.5 million contract with the Naval Ships Support Office.

Under the Navy Systems Acquisition Program Office contract, Fairfax, Va.-based Anteon will provide engineering and management support services for Aegis weapon and combat systems. The two-year contract has three one-year options.

Under the Navy Sea-based Midcourse Ballistic Missile Defense Program Office contract, Anteon will provide systems engineering, technical assistance and consulting services. The one-year contract has four one-year options.

Anteon will serve as a subcontractor to Tecnico Corp. of Chesapeake, Va., on the Naval Ships Support Office contract. Under the contract, Anteon will provide engineering and technical support to the Naval Ships Support Office. This support will include the development of shipboard and shore-based modernization requirements and support for industrial plant procurement and installation.

Anteon is a provider or information technology and systems engineering solutions to the federal government, commercial sector and international sector. The company has 5,400 employees and annual revenue of $715 million.
