Vredenburg lands Navy contract

Vredenburg of Reston, Va. has won a $4.3 million contract to provide a range of technical and management services to the Navy's mine warfare program, the company announced Jan. 22.

If all options are exercised, the new contract, which supports the Airborne Mine Countermeasures program office, is potentially worth $19.6 million over five years to Vredenburg.

Vredenburg, a provider of professional and technical services and information technology solutions, and its team will provide technical and financial management services, program management, logistics support and other services. The prime focus is to help meet cost, schedule and technical goals of the developing programs.

"Having supported the Navy's mine warfare community since 1974, we bring a high level of directly related experience and expertise that gives us a solid understanding of the challenges that the AMCM program office may face in the years ahead," said Chick Baboyian, the company's president.
