Those events have added intensity to the center's activities and shifted its priorities somewhat. No longer is it necessary to demonstrate the need for information assurance to include the capability to protect data from being lost as the result of a catastrophic event. Instead, there is a premium on helping the government and the private sector use the technologies embedded in Oracle products to secure their information and to advance the technologies that can be applied to information assurance problems. "In our Information Assurance Center, we will inform customers about prevention, detection, crisis management and consequence management and provide a test bed for security, business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.""To make the maximum contribution possible."
