Navy Renews DynCorp IT Services Work
A DynCorp subsidiary won a contract worth about $60 million to provide services and support to the Naval Education and Training Professional Development Center.
A DynCorp subsidiary has won a contract worth about $60 million to provide services and support to the Naval Education and Training Professional Development Center, the company announced Oct. 1.
DynCorp Information and Enterprise Technology Inc. of Reston, Va., a subsidiary of DynCorp, won the one-year contract, which has three one-year options, through a recompetition, the company said.
DynCorp has held the contract since 1997. The work will take place at 15 sites around the country. Under the contract, DynCorp will provide IT support services, including analysis and programming, operations, hardware and software integration, network and communications support and information assurance.
Among the IT solutions that DynCorp I&ET provides its government customers are life-cycle support, electronic records and media management, network and communications engineering, seat management, metrology engineering, operational outsourcing and security and intelligence support.
DynCorp has more than 23,000 employees and annual revenue of $1.8 billion.
