National Guard Taps CACI for Software Maintenance

CACI International Inc. has won a one-year, $12 million software maintenance contract with the Army National Guard, the company announced Oct. 8.

The new contract includes four option years and continues CACI's software support to the National Guard. It was awarded through the General Services Administration Federal Supply Service Schedule.

Under the contract, CACI of Arlington, Va., will develop and maintain enterprisewide software systems for personnel, financial and logistical management.

The objective of the contract is to provide comprehensive IT systems support to National Guard organizations across the United States and its territories. This includes support for integrated, enterprisewide software applications, such as those that track personnel records, manage budgets and monitor the distribution of supplies.

CACI's software team will design, develop, integrate, test, implement and provide training on these systems, enhancing the operations of these functions so they serve as the foundation for all National Guard activities.

In addition, CACI also will help identify and leverage emerging technologies, such as Web-based solutions.

CACI has about 5,000 employees and annual revenue of $563 million.
