Dynamics Research Nets Navy Deals
A $10 million modeling and simulation contract and $2.5 million in new task orders go to Dynamics Research Corp.
Dynamics Research Corp., Andover, Mass., has been awarded a contract worth up to $10 million to support the modeling and simulation of repair projects for the Navy, the company announced Oct. 11.
To be performed for the Naval Aviation Systems Industrial Operations Office, the five year contract will provide modeling and simulation expertise to naval aviation depots so they may rapidly assess repair processes and identify operational improvements to cut repair time and costs.
Immediately following the contract announcement, the Navy awarded Dynamics Research approximately $2.5 million in new task orders to support depots in Jacksonville, Fla., and Cherry Point, N.C.
"Our modeling and simulation systems have provided a powerful capability for conducting assessments, performing what-if scenarios and integrating naval aviation industrial processes," said James Regan, Dynamics Research chairman, president and chief executive officer.
Dynamics Research has also provided modeling and simulation services to Air Force, the Defense Logistics Agency and the Army Research Laboratory.
