SAIC Scores Two Army Wins

Science Applications International Corp. won a pair of contracts May 14 for services related to the U.S. Army's Joint Network Management System.

In the first contract, SAIC, based in San Diego, received an $8.6 million contract out of a contract worth an estimated cumulative total of $59.9 million over seven years, if all options are exercised.

Under the terms of the contract, SAIC will conduct research and development of the Joint Network Management System to provide detailed planning and engineering, monitoring, control and reconfiguration, spectrum planning and management, and security of systems and networks supporting joint operations.

The second contract is worth about $15.3 million over seven years. SAIC will provide technical support services, including conducting training courses, fielding support, supporting government-conducted testing, post-deployment software support, maintenance support and for replenishment spares for the JNMS hardware.

Work on both contracts will be carried out in McLean, Va., Red Bank, N.J., and Piscataway, N.J.
