CACI Wins $17.6 Million Air Force Order
The Air Force has awarded a 10-year, $17.6 million time-and-materials task order to CACI International Inc.under the General Services Administration's Millennia Lite contract.
The Air Force has awarded a 10-year, $17.6 million time-and-materials task order to CACI International Inc. of Arlington, Va., under the General Services Administration's Millennia Lite contract.
CACI will provide command, control, computers, communications and information support to the Technical Applications Center at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. The contract is part of CACI's ongoing support to the service.
Under the terms of the order, CACI's project team will deliver operations, maintenance and engineering services supporting Air Force radar systems deployed worldwide.
These services include onsite operations and maintenance of the systems and special security requirements, such as diagnosing, repairing and replacing faulty systems and providing efficiency analyses of systems.
CACI's support for the applications center started under the Electronics Systems Command at Hanscom Air Force Base, according to Ken Johnson, CACI's president of U.S. operations.
"It began during the proof-of-concept stage, continued throughout the installation, integration, system acceptance and full operational capability phases, and [it followed] the transition of the program from Hanscom to AFTAC," he said.
