MAY 24 - Government Technology Services Inc. of Chantilly, Va., and GottahaveIT.com of Alexandria, Va., have formed a strategic alliance to give GTSI customers access to GottahaveIT.com's database of products and services.
GottahaveIT.com maintains a database of IT solution sets and then matches a solution to a customer's need.
GTSI plans to use this enhanced content to fuel its e-commerce efforts in the government market as well as support its internal sales and marketing teams via the company intranet.
"GottahaveIT.com is a unique entry into the marketplace," said Dendy Young, GTSI chairman and chief executive. "Our customers are sophisticated, but the amount of product information available is staggering. The ability to sift through a great deal of information, find the right information, and then match a product to a need is both a time and money saver."
The two companies also will be working together to refine GottahaveIT.com's database.
"We know we are providing a service that is valued in both the public and private sectors and are delighted to be working with the public sector industry leader," said Marc Arendt, founder and CEO of GottahaveIT.com.
