Litton-PRC Hooks $110M Treasury Contract

MAY 23 - Litton-PRC Inc. of McLean, Va., has nabbed a $110 million contract to implement an enterprise resources planning system for human resources and payroll processes at the Treasury Department. The three-year blanket purchase agreement covers all 14 bureaus at the agency.


PRC will provide program management and systems integration support services for Treasury's implementation of the PeopleSoft Federal Human Resources Management System. The new system will replace more than 100 legacy systems for personnel and payroll functions throughout Treasury and its bureaus, including the Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Customs Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearm and U.S. Secret Service.


The department overall has 160,000 employees.


"Winning the contract to support Treasury's implementation of the HR Connect system validates Litton-PRC's leadership in federal human resources and payroll management systems," said Leonard M. Pomata, Litton vice president and president of PRC.


This will be PRC's largest ERP implementation in the government.


Other agencies that PRC has provided ERP services to include the Energy Department, Veterans Affairs, and the U.S. Space Alliance as well as the government of Mahoning County, Ohio. Commercial customers have included Idaho Power, WinStar Communications, Hilton Hotels, and Black & Decker.
