Leidos books $267M Army C5ISR recompete

Leidos has secured a $267 million follow-on contract to continue supporting the Army with hardware sustainment, modernization and other services.

The contract is task order under the Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services vehicle, also known as RS3. The order has an 11-month base period and four individual option years.

Leidos has supported the Communications Electronics Command’s Integrated Logistics Support Center since 2011 with C5ISR expertise. The command, control, communication, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support is specifically for the command’s field support directorate and force modernization division.

The order tasks Leidos to assess hardware capabilities against performance parameters, build out hardware configurations and implement upgrades.

Since 2011, Leidos has fielded 9,000 C5ISR systems and provided 13,000 training courses to more than 167,000 soldiers.

“These are critical capabilities and training our customer needs to deliver and modernize tactical network environments for the warfighter at the point of need,” said Jason McCarthy, senior vice president for engineering, integration and operations at Leidos.
