GovTribe's Top 20 contracts for February
These opportunities are generating the most activity on GovTribe, based on an analysis of traffic on the website.
Sensing technology, project management support and geospatial standards lead the list of the 20 most-talked about opportunities among GovTribe users.
GovTribe, our sibling market research division, analyzes the data from this website traffic to establish its monthly top 20.
Contract awards, new solicitations and requests for information find their way onto the list depending on how often and how many GovTribe users visit those opportunities.
The opportunity generating the biggest buzz this month is a call for white papers by the Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.
The Army is looking for proposals for a variety of technologies to improve sensors. White papers are due Feb. 24.
Eligible proposals should include basic research, applied research, advanced technology development, or demonstration and validation that are not specific to a system or hardware.
The Army will make awards of up to $15 million each for periods of two to five years.
The second-most visited opportunity on GovTribe was this set of seven awards to support the Interior Department’s Business Center with project management services. The awards were split between large and small businesses.
A solicitation from Army Corps of Engineers for geospatial research-and-development work was the third-most popular opportunity, according to GovTribe’s list.
That multiple-award contract will have a $499 million ceiling over five years. The Corps wants to develop enterprise-wide geospatial systems and direct geospatial support to military personnel.
