First protest filed over $900M Space Force data contract
One unsuccessful bidder is pushing back against their exclusion from the multiple-award vehicle for data applications and services.
A disappointed bidder is objecting to its exclusion from a $900 million Space Force contract for data analytics and software services.
In late March, Space Force announced its selections of 18 companies that will compete for task orders supporting the development of applications for the Space Systems Command.
Greystones Consulting Group filed its protest on Tuesday. A total of 34 companies submitted proposals for the contract, which means Greystones is the first of the 16 unsuccessful bidders to to file a protest. We’ll watch if any others also file protests.
Washington, D.C.-headquartered Greystones is a woman-owned small business. The company supports a variety of defense organizations with services and solutions around data analytics and decision support, cybersecurity, IT, and mission planning and operational support.
The Space Force contract supports Space C2, a program the Air Force launched in 2018 as a way to bring together space domain awareness data from multiple sources.
A Government Accountability Office decision on Greystones' protest is due July 20.
