Serco's U.S. subsidiary wins $84M Air Force analytical support contract

Serco Inc. will support air operations in Southwest Asia for the next five-and-a-half-years.

Serco Group's U.S. subsidiary will provide analytical services, consulting and management expertise to support Air Force readiness and air operations in Southwest Asia.

Work under the five-and-a-half-year pact will specifically support the Air Force Central Command, the company said in a release. The contract is known as the Organizational Planning, Program Management & Technical Consulting Support program.

Serco Inc. will deliver high-level analytical services, consulting and management expertise to Air Force personnel responsible for program management, operational employment of airpower, and joint operations.

The contract also covers intelligence, logistics, information technology, air operations center support, contingency planning and other functional areas. Most of the work will take place Shaw Air Force base in South Carolina, and other locations in the U.S. and worldwide as needed.

“With this contract, Serco continues to support the critical mission requirements of AFCENT air operations in Southwest Asia,” Serco Inc. CEO Tom Watson said in a release. “This contract award highlights the intelligence, technical, and mission ready capability support our team provides to the U.S. Air Forces Central Command."
